Her first hand stories about rescues in Denali, Yosemite and Grand Canyon National Parks range from scraping splattered BASE jumpers off the rocks after chutes didn't open to handling Code W's which is NPS speak for wimps on the trail. This book is a fantastic report on the living quarters, daily life and rescue missions of the men and women that serve and protect the land from the people and vice versa. Another M310 must read!
